Our Story

Our story goes back to before the 1980s when the founder, Lance Parkes, was a salesman in New Zealand. Originally getting his start in the medical industry, Lance saw a way to tap into the lucrative Petroleum industry in Canada. After relocating, we fast forward to 1985 and Parkes Scientific was founded and ran from a garage in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Since that pivotal day, Parkes Scientific has striven to offer it's customers the highest quality products, service, and support in various fields. Of course, over time, some things have changed and some things haven't. We aren't run from a garage these days, but our mission has always been to offer our customers the best product buying experience we can, with top quality products and extensive knowledge and expertise.
